Finally got all the seeds germinated and transplanted. Most made it. Here’s the germination and transplant survival ratio:
100 Red ghost – 53 seedlings = 53%
10 Yellow Trinidad = 10 for 10! 100%
20 White habanero = 15 seedlings = 75%
20 White ghost =11 seedlings = 55%
25 Orange habs =16 seedlings = 64%
20 Red congo trinidad = 20 for 20! 100%
20 Prarie fire = 15 seedlings = 75%
20 Black pearl = 18 = 90%
I did batches in the warmer and placed them into cops when they had 4 leaves. The red ghosts were first, and they are doing GREAT! They should have nice root balls by the time transplanting comes mid-May.
I used color-coded solo cups for my seedlings based on their eventual fruit color:
