MAME machine monitor replacement

m223.jpg

The very heavy and expensive CRT that I installed in the Mame cabinet died, and since there was an unused LCD available, it was replaced with that LCD. The weight savings and safety considerations were worth it. The bezel had to be trimmed flat and the LCD was attached to the bezel with hot glue, the front of the LCD painted black and the whole assemble suspended in the original bezel recess of the cabinet top deck. The colors are a lot better and the clarity in XP and the emulator are MUCH improved.
